1. Donations
SHDVEF accepts voluntary contributions to support its stated educational, cultural and related activities, subject to applicable law. Donations may be made using the designated donation page. Verify the recipient entity shown on the payment page before paying.
All services provided by SHDVEF are completely FREE of charge. We do not charge any registration, membership, subscription, or service fees. SHDVEF does not solicit or collect donations through email, WhatsApp, social media, personal messages, or cash transactions. Please be cautious of individuals claiming to be authorised representatives of SHDVEF and requesting payments or donations. Do not make any payment to such individuals under any circumstances. Voluntary donations, if you wish to support our mission, must be made exclusively through our official website: www.shdvef.com.
Your awareness and cooperation help us maintain transparency, protect our community, and prevent fraudulent activities.
2. Payment processing
Razorpay or its payment partners process payment methods and transaction authorization. Payment success is subject to confirmation by the processor. Keep the payment reference, date, amount and acknowledgement for any query.
3. Refund requests
Because donations are voluntary contributions, a completed donation is generally not refundable merely because a donor changes their mind, subject to applicable law. Requests concerning duplicate charges, mistaken amounts, unauthorized transactions or technical errors will be reviewed individually. A refund is not guaranteed; it may be approved where justified and legally permitted.
SHDVEF will not accept or entertain any refund requests for payments or donations made outside the official payment process available on our website, www.shdvef.com. Any payment made directly to an individual, third party, or unauthorised account claiming to represent SHDVEF is made at the payer’s own risk. SHDVEF shall not be responsible for such unauthorised transactions.
For your safety, make voluntary donations only through the official SHDVEF website.
4. How to request a refund
Email dharma@shdvef.com with the donor name, payment date, amount, transaction/reference ID, reason and supporting evidence. Do not send full card numbers, CVV, PIN or banking passwords. Requests should be made promptly, preferably within 48 hours after payment.
5. Processing and timelines
We will acknowledge and assess requests within 24 hours. If a refund is approved, it will ordinarily be returned through the original payment channel where feasible. Settlement timing depends on the payment provider and bank; we cannot guarantee a fixed credit date.
6. Receipts and tax benefits
SHDVEF is a religious organisation dedicated to the promotion of Sanatana Dharma, spiritual knowledge, education, and selfless service. Donations made to SHDVEF are not eligible for income tax deductions under Section 80G of the Income-tax Act, 1961, based on the organisation’s current tax status.
Donation receipts may be issued subject to successful verification of the donation, payment transaction, and donor details. Such receipts serve solely as an acknowledgement of the donation and must not be treated as tax exemption or tax deduction certificates.
SHDVEF does not represent or guarantee that donations qualify for any income tax deduction, exemption, or other tax benefit.D onors should obtain independent tax advice where necessary.

7. Chargebacks and disputes
All services provided by SHDVEF are completely free of charge. Voluntary donations must be made exclusively through the official payment process available on www.shdvef.com. If you suspect an unauthorised or fraudulent transaction made through SHDVEF’s official website, please contact your bank or payment service provider immediately and notify SHDVEF at Dharma@shdvef.com with the relevant transaction details.
SHDVEF shall not be responsible for payments or donations made outside its official website payment process, including payments made through personal bank accounts, UPI transfers, cash, WhatsApp, email, social media, or individuals claiming to be authorised representatives of SHDVEF. Refund requests relating to such transactions will not be entertained or processed by SHDVEF.
For transactions completed through the official website, any refund request or payment dispute will be reviewed in accordance with SHDVEF’s Donation and Refund Policy, applicable payment provider rules, and relevant laws.
Nothing in this policy restricts a donor’s statutory rights to report fraud, dispute an unauthorised transaction, or seek remedies through their bank, payment provider, or competent authority.
